This page defines the licensing and permitted use of research outputs published by the Terawatt Times Institute, including institutional research assets and author-owned theoretical works.
Licensing terms depend on ownership and authorship, as specified below.
I. Institutional Research Assets
(Terawatt Times Institute)
This section applies to indices, datasets, frameworks, methodologies, and institutional research publications released by the Terawatt Times Institute.
Permitted Use
You are free to:
- Read, cite, and reference these works with proper attribution
- Use them for academic research, policy analysis, and educational purposes
- Share documents in full or in part, provided attribution is maintained
- Discuss, critique, and compare published results or interpretations
Citation is permitted.
Restricted Use & Licensing Requirement
Any form of implementation, replication, or derivative deployment requires explicit written permission from the Terawatt Times Institute.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Reproducing or operationalizing index scoring logic or evaluation methods
- Embedding frameworks, definitions, or interpretive logic into software, platforms, or analytical tools
- Developing commercial indices, benchmarks, ratings, or assessment products
- Use in professional consulting, advisory services, financial products, or investment systems
- Engineering, modeling, or simulation systems implementing the frameworks beyond citation or illustrative use
Implementation is licensed.
II. Author-Owned Theoretical Works
(Individual Authors)
This section applies to theoretical, conceptual, or methodological works authored by individual contributors and published by the Terawatt Times Institute.
Ownership of these works remains with the named author(s), as specified in each publication.
Such works do not constitute institutional research assets unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Permitted Use
You are free to:
- Read, cite, and reference these works
- Use them for research and educational purposes
- Share them with proper attribution
Restricted Use & Licensing Requirement
Engineering implementation and commercial use require licensing from the author(s).
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Software or hardware implementation
- Integration into products, services, or technical standards
- Professional consulting or commercial applications
